RF, HF/VHF, Microwaves: RF Propagation/Fading, Antennas, RF Design/Deployment, RF Safety, Microwave Link Design Training
This curriculum is comprised of courses and workshops applicable to RF systems generally including RF propagation and fading, antennas, RF system design and deployment, and RF safety. It also includes courses on some specific kinds of RF systems, e.g., HF/VHF and microwave link design.
As RF systems become more varied and pervasive, there is a growing need for engineers, technicians, and managers who understand RF. Our course on RF Systems: Principles, Design, and Deployment provides the foundation for work with RF. It should be followed by courses on RF Propagation and Fading (including link budget design) and Antennas. All RF courses can be tailored to the type of radio system you work with, whether wireless/cellular, WLAN/WWAN, HF/UHF, microwave, radar, or military.
Also, included in this curriculum are courses aimed at the special needs of RF technicians (RF for Technicians: A Fast-Track Workshop) and those involved with Microwaves and Fixed Line-of-Sight Link Design, who can choose between a 2-day overview and a 4-day workshop.
All who visit or work at/near RF installations (including the real-estate personnel involved with site acquisition) should consider taking our course on RF Safety.
