Wireless Technologies Training - Fixed, Mobile and Satellite
The Wireless Technologies curriculum builds on the foundations laid in our Wireless and Core Network Engineering curricula with courses that provide in-depth technical knowledge on specific wireless technologies for mobile, fixed, and satellite networks. These courses are aimed at the knowledge and skills requirements of the engineers and technicians who design wireless networks, equipment, or software.
- Technology Comparison and Evaluation
- WCDMA: UMTS-FDD, UMTS-TDD, HSDPA, HSUPA, CAMEL, and 4G Training
- CDMA Training: DSSS, CDMA, cdmaOne (IS95), cdma2000 (1xRTT, EVDO, UMB, EVDV)
- GSM, GPRS, EDGE, and CAMEL Training
- iDEN™, TETRA, HF/VHF, Microwave, Bluetooth
- Satellite Network Engineering
- WiMAX Institute: WiFi, WiMAX, Mobile WiMAX, MIMO, and OFDM Courses
The above curricula consist of intensive one to five day courses at basic, intermediate and advanced levels covering subjects such as protocols and network structure, operation, design, and optimization, including traffic engineering.
Our
technologies courses are developed by highly qualified
engineers/educators with 15+ years experience and customized to your
specific background, experience level, and job requirements. They
are taught by instructors who are among the most knowledgeable and
dynamic in the industry. Along with lecture, we use exercises,
puzzles, case studies, and interesting group activities to enrich the
instruction and drive home the essential points. If you already
know something about a technology, we will build on that. We’ll
compare and contrast what you already know with what you’re trying to
learn, making the new ideas easier to learn as well as more relevant.
