This curriculum serves the needs of telecommunications, IT, and security professionals in the public or private sector who are charged with ensuring the security of their installations, hardware and software, networks, communications, and information. It also addresses the needs of diverse audiences in the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security, intelligence community, public safety, and law enforcement.
Included are courses on Unified Communications and other emerging technologies from the standpoint of public safety and law enforcement, wireless technologies for technical investigators, geo-location, network security, IP security (IPSec v2, IPSec v3), VoIP security, SIP security, WLAN/WiFi security, cyber security and cyber warfare, CALEA, and training for 911 call takers, managers, and IP professionals. The technical level of any of the courses listed here can be ratcheted up or down to suit the backgrounds and needs of a particular group.
