Carol Erdman
As the Director of Eogogics’s Performance
Enhancement Services, Carol Erdman heads up our human capital
management consulting practice. She is also our principal learning
architect, in charge of training design and train-the-trainer
functions. Carol’s career encompasses over 20 years of human
resources, training and development, performance improvement, and
organizational development work. She combines a broad range of HR
expertise, including the ability to answer technical/regulatory
questions with seasoned facilitation skills, uplifting examples, and
humor to make learning meaningful and fun. She has worked with
corporations such as Verizon, Honeywell, SRA,
Vector Security, Visa, and Choice Hotels as well as government agencies
such as the IRS, Department of Energy, and
Forest Service.
Her experience in employee relations, labor contract negotiations, affirmative action and diversity awareness, compensation and benefits, organizational development, change management, recruitment and retention is coupled with a master’s degree in adult education and fifteen years of expertise in training development and presentation including comprehensive leadership development programs.
Well grounded in adult learning theory, her courses combine assessment tools, facilitated group discussion, and job-aids that participants can begin using upon return to their jobs. “This changes training from a one-time learning event to an ongoing process that weaves improved ways of doing business right into the employee’s work routine,” she says.
Carol received a master’s degree in Human Performance Technology (HPT) from the University of Maryland (Baltimore County Campus), where she also teaches graduate level courses on performance technologies and consulting practices in the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) program. HPT takes a systems approach to the analysis and improvement of human performance in the workplace.
